A former detective named Mara Vale stepped forward. “Rules of engagement?”
“No mercy,” I said. “But no stupidity. No assaults. No threats. No cowboy nonsense. We take their freedom, their money, their reputations, and their sleep. We do it by the book so they never get it back.”
I handed out addresses.
