“She has evidence he falsified company reports.”
“Did he?”
“Yes.”

A light flashed in an upstairs window. A camera lens moved across the glass.
Tyler pulled Tabitha behind a hedge.
“She is watching us.”
“Good.”
“You should be afraid.”
“I am.”
“Then why are you smiling?”
“Because now I know where the camera is.”
The next morning, Mara called.
“The account sends money to a shell company called Bellweather Care.”
“Who controls it?”
“Evelyn’s personal physician, Dr. Helen Price.”
Tabitha remembered Claire’s warning.
“What else?”
“Helen signed Claire’s commitment papers.”
A crash sounded downstairs.
