Officer Miller swallowed hard, suddenly looking like a terrified child. "Sir... we received a 911 call. The caller stated there was an aggressive trespasser..."

David walked up to stand beside his son, placing a reassuring hand on Marcus's shoulder. "The only aggressive trespasser I see," David said, his booming courtroom voice echoing across the lawn, "is the woman standing on my property making false police reports."

Brenda’s mouth hung open. She looked at the police officers, who were now standing at attention, sweating profusely under the gaze of their Deputy Chief.

"He... he's your nephew?" Brenda whispered, the reality of her colossal mistake finally crashing down upon her.

"Yes. And this is my house," David said, staring directly into Brenda's panicked eyes. "I am Judge David Harrison. And you, ma'am, have just committed a crime by filing a false, racially motivated police report."

The patrol officers wasted no time. Eager to appease their boss, they turned their attention to Brenda. "Ma'am, we need to speak with you," Officer Miller said, his tone entirely devoid of the respect he had shown her moments before.

By the end of the week, Brenda was forced to resign from the HOA in disgrace, facing a civil rights lawsuit from Judge Harrison and potential criminal charges for misuse of the 911 system.
