He was the epicenter of the storm, the one single leverage point that the entire global underworld feared seeing fall into the wrong hands. The engines outside were deafening now, the ground trembling beneath their boots as dozens of heavy motorcycles and blacked-out SUVs formed a wide, inescapable perimeter around the saloon. Powerful headlights slashed violently across the broken windows, blinding in their intensity, casting long, monstrous silhouettes of John and his son against the bullet-riddled walls. The biker leader pumped his shotgun with a sharp, metallic clack-chackthat echoed like a gunshot in the tense interior, signaling his men to take their tactical positions by the doors and remaining windows, ready to make their final stand against insurmountable odds. John Wick took a single step forward, ignoring the chaos blooming outside, and looked at his son one final time, committing every detail of the boy’s face to memory in case the morning sun never rose for either of them. This time, John said quietly, his voice cutting cleanly through the approaching roar of the enemy engines, they’ll come with an army, and they won't stop until every brick of this place is reduced to dust.
