“Confiscate my family’s yacht?” she whispered. “You can’t do that.”
The Fleet Captain rose slowly.
“I already did.”
Across the harbor, lights flashed on the vessel behind her—the yacht she had been bragging about all night. Officers boarded from both sides while her livestream caught every second.
Her viewers exploded in the comments.
I adjusted the captain’s coat over my torn silk dress and looked at her calmly.
“You wanted everyone to watch,” I said. “So let them.”
Her father pushed through the crowd, pale and sweating.
“Madam Chairwoman, please. My daughter didn’t know who you were.”
“That is exactly why she showed everyone who she is.”
The deck screen lit up.
Security footage appeared.
Her throwing champagne.
Her tearing my dress.
Her laughing into the camera.
Then the next file opened.
Unpaid docking fees.
Fake ownership records.
Forged insurance papers.
Hidden damage claims charged to other fleet members.
The influencer’s face turned white.
“No… that’s not mine.”
Her father grabbed her arm. “Stop talking.”
But it was too late.
My legal director stepped forward with one final folder.
“Madam Chairwoman,” he said, “we found the transfer request.”
I opened it.
The yacht beneath our feet had been illegally moved into her family’s name last week.
And the signature approving it…
was mine.
Forged.
The deck went dead silent.
I looked at the influencer.
“You didn’t come here to party.”
My voice turned cold.
“You came here to steal my fleet.”
PART 3
The influencer staggered back as if the words had physically struck her.
“No,” she whispered. “I didn’t know about that.”
Her father’s grip tightened around her arm.
“Enough.”
But fear had already broken through her pretty mask.
She looked at him, eyes wide, suddenly no longer the cruel girl laughing into a camera, but a daughter realizing she had been used as decoration for a crime.
