The man in the burgundy shirt did not flinch. He remained rooted to the floor, a statue of absolute, unbothered composure. The guard’s hands dug into the neatly folded clothes. With a theatrical flourish, he yanked his hand back out, brandishing a clear plastic zip-lock bag filled with a fine white powder.

The older guard held the bag up high, directly under the glaring white lights, ensuring everyone in the vicinity could see it. A malicious, triumphant grin stretched across his round face. "Well look at that. Drugs in an FBI agent's bag," he declared loudly, attempting to publicly humiliate the man standing before him.

The trap had been sprung, but the prey refused to panic. The agent took a slow, deliberate half-step toward the metal table. His sheer physical presence, amplified by the dark, aggressive red of his shirt, made the two guards in powder blue suddenly look remarkably small.

When he spoke, his voice was not raised, but it cut through the ambient noise of the airport like a scalpel. "You planted it on the wrong man," he stated, his tone dripping with cold, authoritative certainty.

Without breaking his icy stare, the agent slowly tilted his head upward, locking his eyes onto the black, hemispherical dome of the security camera mounted directly above the conveyor belt. "Explain why your partner put it there."
