With a smooth, practiced motion, the agent reached into his back pocket and produced his leather credential case, flipping it open to reveal the heavy gold shield of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The golden badge gleamed under the harsh white lights, completely eclipsing the cheap metal pins on the guards' powder blue uniforms.

The revelation struck the checkpoint like a physical shockwave. The lead tactical officer immediately stepped between Agent Vance and the corrupt guards, shielding the agent.

"Cuff him," the tactical officer ordered his team, pointing directly at the older guard. "Both of them."

The metallic click of the handcuffs snapping shut echoed sharply through the terminal. The older guard offered no resistance; his shoulders slumped in absolute defeat, the powder blue fabric bunching up as his arms were wrenched behind his back. The younger guard was already sobbing quietly, his career and freedom evaporating in an instant.

Agent Vance watched with cold, professional detachment as the two men were marched away toward the holding cells, their light blue uniforms swallowed by the sea of dark-clad tactical officers. The sterile, grey checkpoint, which they had used as a hunting ground to extort innocent travelers, had become the very site of their destruction.
